- The Administrative Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day administrative functions, manage internal systems, and provide logistical support across departments. This role also works closely with the Community Engagement team to support outreach activities, events, and volunteer coordination. This is a key position for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and wants to make a meaningful impact through both operational excellence and community connection.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily office operations and organizational systems
- Maintain accurate records, filing systems, and databases (e.g., donor/volunteer CRM, finance tools)
- Track office budget and process invoices and reimbursements
- Develop and implement internal procedures to improve efficiency
- Maintain office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships
- Serve as the point of contact for internal and external inquiries
- Provide logistical support for community outreach events, workshops, and volunteer days
- Help manage email communications and community outreach lists
- Assist with scheduling, registrations, materials, and event setup
- Support volunteer coordination and maintain records of participation
- Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered
- 5+ years of experience required in administrative, operations, or nonprofit support roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google workspace, and database tools
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for community-centered work
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a nonprofit or mission-driven setting
- Event coordination or volunteer management experience
- Familiarity with tools like Mailchimp, Canva, or social media platforms community
- Work Environment & Schedule
- Full-time, 40 hours per week, primarily in-person at the GPRWC office with some flexibility for remote work.
- Some evenings and weekends required for events or community meetings.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and assist with event setup when needed.
- Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $56,000–$62,000 (commensurate with experience)
